L.I.G......Life is good.

Well, maybe not perfectly good, but last night I emailed Norm to make a request about how he relay info. to Kenny since I am out of the loop now, and Tami emailed me back...

It seems like there was a whole crap load of misinformation, and she is being gracious enough to see through it and put this aside so we can ALL be together as a family.

I am relieved. . . But now, we have something not so fun ahead of us. Tami and Norm have been called to Chicago by her oncologist, and I am afraid there may be some tough news. However, I know that God is good, ALL the time. His timing is perfect, and so is his plan...even when it is not in line with mine ;)

So, now we wait and pray and pray and pray and...did i mention pray?

Hi Kristi,
There is a song by Doug Oldham (an oldie) that I think of during those times when people have let me down. It's a good reminder to keep our eyes on the Lord and not on men. God will never let us down and He will love us even when we are so unlovable. The title - "I Could Never Out Love the Lord". Here are the lyrics of the first verse/chorus.

There've been times when giving and loving brought me pain,
And I promised I would never let it happen again.
But I found out that loving was well worth the risk,
And that even in losing you win!
I'm gonna live the way He wants me to live.
I'm gonna give until there's just no more to give.
I'm gonna love - love 'til there's just no more love.
But, I could never - never out love the Lord.
But, I could never - never out love my Lord.

As you said in your blog... God is good... all the time. You need to keep doing what you know God would have you do and what you feel in your heart is right. At least you won't have any regrets when it's been said and done. I'm proud of you for who you have turned out to be and for the friend & daughter-in-law you are to Tami and Norm.

Love, Aunt Paula

Thanks, Aunt Paula...

It's nice to have my stumbles recognized as just that...accidents!

Unfortunately, though we all may try very hard to be perfect and always say and do the right thing, we don't. I like to describe us Christians as "The Filthy Forgiven," because that is exactly what we are...

We aren't perfect, and we mess up like the rest of the world, our only advantage is that we have the privledge of having a just and patient God.

Oh, and thanks for the lyrics, they are great! Definitely fridge-worthy!

Love ya!
